National Women’s Singles Tennis Championship Ends In An Upset

The Vietnam 2009 National Women’s Singles Tennis Championship ended in a huge upset. Huynh Phuong Dai Trang, 16-years-old, upset country’s No.1 woman tennis player Huynh Mai Huynh, 25-years-old, 2-1 on Friday in Vietnam. Each of the girls was reported to have preformed really well in a crowd engaging battle to the end. The defending champion, Huynh Mai, who’s birthday it was, seemed to suffer from exhaustion in the deciding game which resulted in an impressive finish by Huynh Phuong.
