Kim Yu-na Takes Skate American Title

Lake Placid, NY hosts the Skate American competition this year. Kim Yu-na took home the title despite losing the free-skate competition the day before. Her loss of the free-skate competition was due to two major mistakes including a fall on an element that she struggles with, the triple flip. Her outstanding score in the short program shot put her into a lead that no one could close in upon, and she win the gold medal by 13 huge points.

Just saw a video of her on Youtube… She’s amazing, just so graceful and elegant, makes you like skating :) I highly recommend anyone to view it and be taken away.
