Sam Stosur has just clinched her second WTA crown in the Family Circle Cup. The Australian has sent a clear message that she will be one to watch in the upcomming French Open.
“It’s always great to play well in any match but to play that well in a final when you want to play that extra little bit better, it was great,” Sam said. “I was glad I was able to keep it going all the way to the finish.”
The finals featured Sam and Russian, Vera Zvonareva. Sam strong armed the win with a 6-0 6-3 finish.
