UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey won an award for “Best Fighter of the Year” on Wednesday night at the ESPYs, and used her spotlight to take a shot at pound-for-pound boxing king Floyd Mayweather.

Rousey has heard Mayweather’s name for the past couple of years thanks to comments from several fighters and officials saying that the women’s champion would crush the boxer if they ever actually got into a fight.

Obviously the two of them never will actually fight, but it didn’t stop Rousey from taking aim at Mayweather and his long history of domestic violence after winning her award.

“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” Rousey said. “I’d like to see you pretend to not know who I am now.”

Rousey won the award while beating out fellow UFC fighter Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone as well as boxers Terence Crawford, Gennady Golovkin and Mayweather.

Rousey never has shied away from blasting Mayweather over his arrests and convictions on domestic violence charges in previous interviews.

Back in May while speaking to “Access Hollywood”, Rousey took another shot at him while referencing his history of violence against women.

“I would never say that I can’t beat anyone,” Rousey said. “I don’t think me and him would ever fight unless we ended up dating.”

Rousey is finishing her training camp to prepare for her next fight on Aug. 1 in Brazil, where she faces undefeated contender Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC 190.
