Brittney Griner, a 6’8″ forward for Baylor University, was a high school YouTube sensation and had been compared to the likes of Candace Parker. Her dunking ability is nothing short of amazing! After high school, she continued to play ball and make plays, but her most recent will leave her on the bench.
Brittney has risen to YouTube fame once a agian, but not for her athletic talent. She punched Texas Tech guard Jordan Barncastle in the face after Jordan flung her around in the paint during the second half of the game.
Brittney was ejected from the game and will probably face suspension by the Big 12 Conference for her behavior. Baylor Coach Kim Mulkey told reporters after the game that she would deal with the situation.
“There’s no place for that in sports,” she said. “It was ugly for women’s basketball. It was ugly that coaches were on the court, that benches cleared, and I will take care of that with my team.”
