Lori Braun and Rudy Giuliani visited Ground Zero on May 2nd, 2011. They were in front of the Chapel across the street from where the Twin Towers once stood. “I feel a deep sense of relief and satisfaction”, Giuliani said.

A passerby then handed Giuliani an American flag with the names of all those killed on 9/11.

“God bless you,” Giuliani responded.

Giuliani – who was dubbed “America’s Mayor” for his leadership on the day of the attacks – warned that the danger of terrorism would not immediately die with Bin Laden.

“In the short term it means more danger, in the long term I think it means more safety,” he said. “Ultimately it was a very big step.
