Mexican Bodybuilding Bombshell

Spread the love

In 1998 Myriam Bustamante won the heavyweight and overall of the Iberoamerican Championships in Guatemala and was awarded her IFBB pro card – becoming the second female Mexican bodybuilder in history to achieve the honor. She made her pro debut at the 2000 Jan Tana placing 8th in the heavyweight class.

Born in Mexico City in 1968 and currently living in California, her website has the tagline “Mexico’s Bodybuilding Bombshell” which I think looking at the photo of her below is very applicable…

Myriam, like fellow bodybuilder Cathy LeFrancois dabbled in figure contests and like Cathy it didn’t really seem to suit her. Photo below via Hardfitness where Myriam competed as a figure competitor at the 2006 IFBB California Pro.
