| Juliette was born on Sunday November 30, 1958, in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands. She started training in 1981. The main reason why she started to work out was to lose weight, not to become a bodybuilder. She decided to become a bodybuilder after she visited a bodybuilding contest in 1983 and noticed how good the girls looked. She started competing in 1983 and has been ever since in both national and world championships. | ||||
