Slovenian born Brigita Brezovac entered the world of competitive athletics as a competitive karate fighter. In her words, she was skinny but strong, and wanted to achieve more power, explosiveness and strength. Enter the world of the gym rat, where Brigita’s young physique took a liking to it’s new found strength and power.
Karate became a thing of the past for Brigita, but her love for the gym stayed strong. She took fourth at her first competition in 2001 at a World Championship show. A decade later this gorgeous, thickly muscled and vascular blonde, stood on the Ms. Olympia stage for the very first time. She placed 10th, and fantastic start to her IFBB pro career.
Though I’m sure the karate community was sad to see Brigita leave, we are blessed to have such an a stunningly beautiful lady with an amazing physique in the bodybuilding word. We look forward to many more years following the career of Brigita and hopefully see her win that Ms. Olympia title one day.
