Anni Friesinger has won five Olympic medals; gold at the 1500 m in the 2002 Winter Olympics and the team pursuit in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics as well as bronze at the 3000 m in the 1998 Winter Olympics and the 1000 m in the 2006 Winter Olympics. She managed to qualify for the German speed skating team in five events at the 2006 Winter Olympics: the team pursuit and the individual races at 1000 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, and 5000 meters. However, she failed to win gold in any individual events. In the team pursuit semifinal against the United States at the 2010 Olympics, she fell behind her team members and ended up sliding across the finish line on her belly, but Germany still succeeded in advancing to the final.
Lyman Dally was a skinny and bullied kid from New Jersey that liked to draw. He later began lifting weights and eventually became a competitive bodybuilder. This opened his artistic eye to anatomical structure, detail and movement – qualities that still influence his artwork today.
Lyman is best known in the bodybuilding community for his Max Rep™ Mr. Astrotitan 2206 cartoon series which ran in FLEX and Muscular Development magazines during the 1990′s. This mostly self-educated artist has taught at the prestigious Joe Kubert School of Cartoon & Graphic Art and lectured on muscular anatomy, using live female bodybuilders for examples. He has also created over 5,000 editorial illustrations, book illustrations, storyboards and created popular cartoons for MAXIM magazine.
Name: Britta Foster
Birthday: June 16th 1979
Hometown: Ocala, Florida
Favorite Food: Hmm, let me think…..I love all food :)
My family moved to Florida when I was 3, So that almost makes me a floridian.. I was raised in Orange Lake, and Reddick, and attended school at St. John Lutheran. When I graduated High School I started college at CFCC. In the midst of that I got married and had 3 kids :). I was involved in sports all through middle school and high school, with volleyball being my main sport. I was a fairly active kid, yet always a little heavy.. I started working out probaly around my senior year in high school. Weight training was always an intrest of mine.. I have weight trained on and off over 12 years. There were few times inbetween where I gained considerabl amounts of weight, due to pregnacy, and not eating what I should. I have now been working out hard for almost 4 years ( my son will be 4 in August). I have enjoyed watching my body change with all the work I have put into it.. It really means a lot to me to be healthy, and physically in shape.. I want to be a role model for my children, and others, and the best way to do this it to show them.

I am no longer a small town girl of a population of 500 people. I have recently made the move to the city!!! Well a city to me. I went from 500 to 12,0000. See what did I tell ya. Kinda scary at first but hey I am tuff. Adjusting to working out in public is kina weird. Until now I did all my training in the garage. But all that equipment got sold in the move and well here I am a city chick working out in a public gym talk about adjustments. As for my restaurant it is up for sale and I am working for a oilfield company.
Still all the family history is the same. I am the youngest girl of five children. I have a older sister and three brothers. So yes you guessed it life growing up was rough. It was like having four fathers following me around everywhere!!. Hey besides not allowing me to go to the parties or to my own grad without them there to chaperone and a 11:00 curfew at 18 years old what fun would life have been. (I just keep telling myself that!) In the long run I knew they did it because they loved me so all is good. I have seven dogs. One English Setter and six English Pointers. They are a whole lot of fun. Each year we head down to southern United States and trial with them on wild birds. Generally quail. It is amazing to watch them at work! Just lost the only girl we had a couple months ago…my rottweiler. Broke my heart – she was eleven and well, I just say that Heaven has a new Angel.
Since my early 20′s I have been involved in the fitness industry. In the early years I mainly worked as a freelance fitness instructor at various Sports clubs, fitness centres and school hall’s. The classes ranged from, Step, Yoga, Body Combat, Body Pump and every other trend that came and went along the way!! In recent years I mainly concentrated on personal training. I am fully qualified in exercise to music, gym instruction and personal training.

A painting for sale along the boardwalk in Venice, Calif. The Los Angeles boardwalk community of Venice has long celebrated its seediness, accepting — embracing, really — the kind of sensory assaults that would faze more conventional places: beachfront bodybuilders, ragamuffin street vendors, tattoo artists, Hare Krishna chanters, skateboarders, drug dealers, gangs, homeless encampments, rowdy tourists, film crews and, more recently, a colony of medical marijuana dispensaries.
